Position Title - Regional VP Sales - Cartons & Labels
Location - Long Island, NY
Our Client is a mid-tier, multi-plant printed component manufacturer of customized folding carton packaging and premium marketing collateral producing Commercial, POP displays, Folding Cartons, Labels and Fulfillment Services for a variety of market sectors with annual sales approaching $120 million. Plants are located in Ohio, New York, Massachusetts, and Virginia.
Client is looking for a Regional VP of Sales to manage their Eastern Region sales effort. Position is located at the Long Island Plant site and will report to the GM at that facility with dotted line to the National VP Sales located in Ohio.
The Vice President of Sales will lead the sales force in developing and executing sales and margin growth strategies within the Eastern division. This position works closely with the executive leadership team and other divisional Sales VPs to achieve the overall platform agenda and sales goals. Sales Representatives, Account Managers, and Customer Service Reps report directly to the VP, Sales.
Qualified candidates will have approximately 7 10 years of carton/label sales experience with 5 years in sales management and a good understanding of printing.
A thorough knowledge of packaging sales, printing preferred, together with a broad knowledge of related technical or administrative areas to apply that knowledge to varied sales situations.
A Bachelors degree or equivalent is preferred.
Ten years of sales experience in the printing/packaging industry.
Five years of sales management experience or a combination of management experience and sales experience.
Proven track record of new sales development, managing, key-account relationships, growing sales margins and market share growth.
Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries and/or complaints and to speak to groups of customers and/or employees.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of changes in uncommon situations.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions.
Proficiency in Word, Excel and the ability to work with (or successfully train on) all related Solar Soft system requirements.
Must live in, or relocate to, Long Island, NY.
Salary is negotiable, depending upon credentials presented, to 190K plus 20% bonus and Car Allowance. Relocation Package.
