Position Title - Engineering Project Manager Extruded Polyolefin Films

Location - Greater Nashville area

Description -
Our client is a multi-plant International manufacturer of extruded polyolefin films used in a wide variety of end-user markets. The Project Manager manages complex strategic investment/expansion projects in a timely manner. The PM leads dedicated work packages, or clearly defined parts of major complex projects, and acts as backup to the Group Project Manager who is assigned overall lead of the strategic investment project. Reports to Plant Site Manager

Responsibilities
Ensures availability of resources for the identified tasks in close collaboration with the overall project leader and the work package leaders and escalation of any shortfalls in order to avoid any project delays or shortfalls
Ensures adherence to project meeting and reporting structure in order to ensure frequent escalation of issues, review progress, exchange b/w work package leaders, site GM and senior stakeholders.
Ensures up-to-date documentation/tracking of project tasks in internal project management tool.
Provides structural support of project work package leaders by either himself or involvement of group PMO as needed
Ensures cost controlling/spending control of the entire project against project budget

Requirements -
BS degree in Engineering Masters preferred
Solid experience and track record in managing complex capital projects (in process industry production environment), ideally in plastic industry
Seven+ years of experience in Operations Management in process industry, ideally plastics industry (extrusion and/or printing) gained as Operations Manager, Technical/Engineering manager or similar
Experience in hygiene industry/Technical films or Consumer Packaging films industry is a plus, but not mandatory,
Team management skills (administering and coordinating individuals by promoting teamwork, delegating tasks, resolving conflict, setting goals and evaluating performance)
Good communication skills at all levels of the organization
Sound leadership experience
Sound negotiation skills (resources, budgets, schedules, scope creep etc.)
Experience in Value Stream Mapping and/or material flow studies & optimization is a plus

Compensation -
Salary is negotiable, depending upon experience presented, to 120K
